I am Mohammed Tahri Sqalli, originally from the Land of the Setting Sun: Morocco. However, I see myself as a citizen of the world. I had the opportunity to go and explore all what the field of Computer Science has to offer all around the globe whether it was in the Land of Freedom (USA) or the Land of the Rising Sun (Japan) or the Land of a Thousand Lakes (Finland). I enjoyed every subfield I submerged myself into ranging from Robotics, Software Engineering and now in the process of diving in Machine Learning. I did both my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and graduate studies in Software Engineering at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. As an undergraduate, I went for an exchange semester to the State University of New York at Binghamton. Prior to starting my graduate studies, I went for a year of research as a graduate researcher in the Robotics laboratory of Dr. Kyoichi Tatsuno at Meijo University, Nagoya, Japan. While at my graduate studies, I went as an Erasmus Researcher to the University of Eastern Finland. Currently I am on a quest to discover Machine Learning as part of my Ph.D. at Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
